Nautical Gourmet Atlas is a curated guide to restaurants, wineries, and authentic places along the Croatian coast — designed for boaters and anyone who wants to experience the coast in a more meaningful way.
The project was built on a simple idea: to make it easier to find places truly worth visiting. Along the coast, there is a wealth of exceptional restaurants, konobas, wineries, and local producers, yet many remain outside the main tourist routes and are difficult to discover without a trusted recommendation.
Nautical Gourmet Atlas does not aim to show everything. Its purpose is to offer a clear selection of places we can stand behind in terms of quality, experience, and reputation.
How NGA works
NGA functions as an interactive map connecting carefully selected locations along the coast.
Instead of endless reviews and unverified recommendations, you’ll find a limited number of places chosen through personal experience, years of fieldwork, and insights from people who understand gastronomy and the nautical world.
The idea is simple: fewer choices, better choices.
The platform helps travellers and boaters plan their routes, discover new places, and make decisions with greater confidence.
For most partners, you’ll also find video material we filmed during the production of television features for Nautical Channel. These videos offer a clearer sense of the atmosphere, setting, and character of each place before deciding where to stop.
Project philosophy
Nautical Gourmet Atlas is not an open directory and not a review-driven platform.
The places included are selected based on authenticity, quality of offer, approach to guests, and long-term reputation. The goal is not to rank or compare, but to highlight places that share a consistent philosophy of hospitality and fair value.
The goal is simple: to create a guide you can trust when deciding where to stop, where to sit down, and what to experience along the Croatian coast.
